Of all the books in my children's collection, Those illustrated by Morrissey are my favorite. Ship of Dreams is the extention of "watching for Santa" and star wonder. The story brings dreams of a child to life and the illustrations are perfectly imagined for it.

Ship Ship of dreams book Dreams by Brenda Hiatt is a historical romance inspired by a true event, the sinking of the S.S. Central America, a foot sidewheel steamer that operated between Panama and New York City during the s.

Overall, Ship of Dreams was a great read that pulled me in from the first page, though it was not without its flaws.

My biggest issue with the book was the main heroine Della Gilliland/5. The second instalment in The Dreams Come True Series, Ship of Dreams by Rebecca Heflin is a romance novel full of passion, fine dining, conflict, travelling, more conflict and eventually love and happiness.

The story is about Laura Armstrong and Nathan Maxwell/5. SHIP of DREAMS is a romance, yes, but a romance wrapped around the true story of the sinking of the luxury sidewheel steamer SS Central America (aka the Ship of Gold for all the gold it carried) that went down in a hurricane off the Carolina coast in /4(48).

Ship of Dreams book. Sailing off into the night sky in his "Redd Rocket" wagon to meet the Sandman, Joey experiences a grand adventure and heart-stopping rescue, discovering the Sandman's amazing ship and all of its wondrous secrets.

In The Ship of Dreams, British historian Gareth Russell chronicles six passengers’ histories and fates, putting such a human face on the disaster—from the shipyard workers building the Titanic in Belfast, Ireland, to the grieving crowds in New York awaiting the survivors’ arrival aboard the SS Carpathia —that he proves Titanic ’s story is very much worth rediscovering.
